Manchester six-piece blending indie rock and shoegaze with influences ranging from dance music to hardcore. Venkappa create new and exciting sounds but still they know how to tug on nostalgia’s heartstrings.

For fans of Wolf Alice, Turnover and LCD Soundsystem — Venkappa are dreamy, loud, and a little bit emotional. Live, their reverb-drenched guitars, big choruses, and driving rhythm section make moments that can only be experienced in a mosh pit, or a group therapy session.

Making their debut in January 2026, Venkappa released their first single ‘Want’ before headlining a sold out show at Rose and Monkey, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Their debut was followed by opening up a packed out O2 Ritz, Manchester in February. Venkappa’s second single, ‘LCD’,  was exclusively released on Bandcamp in February before further release in March 2026. The exclusive release was Venkappa’s way of protesting against the streaming titans of the industry.

Set to release their debut EP in Spring 2026, Venkappa are already creating a stir in the independent music scene and it is just the beginning…
